Jat See-yeu wrote the four characters yi bu wei xiao in cursive script, which conveys the meaning that no act is insignificant. He freely experimented with ink diffusion and colour rendering, ingeniously integrated diverse characters, strokes and composition, and deliberately played with negative space. With meticulous attention to the choice of paper, the application of ink and colour, as well as thoughtful consideration of mounting and embellishment, Jat composed calligraphic works with fascinating imagery and charm.
