HOT DOG BUS
This pattern is inspired by HK’s early buses, the most common public transport of HongKongers in the 1960’s-1970’s. Air-conditioners being a luxury back then, the buses did not have AC, and taking the bus was sweltering hot in summer, earning it the nickname “Hot Dog”. The last Hot Dog bus retired in 2012, marking the end of an era that now only exists in our collective memory.
