RICKSHAW

This pattern is inspired by the iconic rickshaw. The rickshaw was first introduced to Hong Kong in 1874, and was one of the earliest forms of public transport in Hong Kong. The rickshaw can be viewed as the predecessor of the taxi, also providing point-to-point delivery. As the city progressed and more public transports means became available, demand for rickshaws dwindled until it became none. Nowadays, when foreigners see rickshaws, they immediately think of Hong Kong, and the rickshaw has been reinvented from a labor-intensive public transport into an iconic IG-able backdrop.
